Out of the Box started as a handful of singers who met in the living room of one of its founder members. They set out to do things slightly differently and to explore music that they otherwise might not have the opportunity of performing. Fast forward almost 10 years, and the group has grown to a 30-strong vocal collective that retains its quirky individuality and sense of adventure, creating a fusion of performance arts with singing at its core and poetry, prose and storytelling at its heart.
Our shared love of singing and open-minded curiosity, along with a desire to bring the unexpected to our audiences, drives our enthusiasm for making music in our own style that is uniquely out of the box. Out of the Box also proves that whatever your experience, by working together and inspiring each other you can create something magical.
Above all, we hope to bring moments of joy when we sing. We relish performing in all kinds of venues, come rain or shine, and are proud to raise money for worthy causes whenever we can.
